During the annual meeting on June 6, The Citadel Board of Visitors reelected Col. F. G. "Greg" Delleney Jr., '74, to serve as chair for a second term.
It's estimated that more than 2,500 American troops were killed on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Among them were multiple Citadel graduates, including 1st Lt. Robert Brice, Class of 1942.
More than 800 cadets and students from The Citadel accepted their degrees during the commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 3.
